Project to support volunteering at primary school as an outcome of volunteering experience of a student teacher

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of volunteering, an empirical case study in the region of North India - Little Tibet, in the village of Mulbekh, in the Ladakh region. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part deals with the phenomenon of volunteering, the possibilities of volunteering activities in the Czech Republic and abroad. The thesis describes the need of the global development education involvement in cross-subject topics and points to new strategies in education. It introduces the possibility of implementation of the topic of volunteering in the educational field Health Education through project work. It also describes the functioning of primary education in India and the operation of the Spring Dales Public School, in which the research was carried out within the framework of the author's volunteer project. The author finds the benefit of this work in respecting the specific objectives of the 2030+ Strategy to acquire competences for active civic life by including the topic of volunteering in education.
